Renee Decker practices law as a trusted advisor to families, guiding them through the often-confusing puzzle of financial and legal decisions that come with creating estate plans, seeing a loved one’s assets through probate, or helping a trustee through the process of administering a trust. Her practice includes estate planning, special needs planning, asset protection, probate and trust administration, and business succession planning.
One of the main reasons Renee chose to counsel clients in estate planning and asset protection is that she loves to educate people about ways they can use planning to enhance the future of their families and others they care about. Her prior experience in business law and creditor’s rights litigation allows her the foresight to think through the types of situations a family needs to consider when planning.
In her spare time, Renee enjoys spending time with her husband, their two rambunctious boys, and the myriad pets they’ve convinced her to adopt over the years, including Bolt the Rat Terrier, Spencer the Maltese, Max the cat, Merle the turtle and Ash the bearded dragon. She also enjoys cheering on her alma mater, the Florida Gators, having received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law in 2008.
