Therapist Gone Rogue!

I describe a real case that came into our office dealing with a liability at a rental property. The owner was exposed to unlimited liability due to a lack of proper asset protection planning.

It was the case of the psychical therapist gone rogue.

When you own rental property, you must guard against both inside and outside liability. Inside liability is something that is connected to the property and if not contained, can attack all of your other assets.

An outside liability is an event that happens away from the property such as a car accident, tax issue or a business related liability – that can lead to an attack on your property.

When the seas are calm is the time to put asset protection strategies in place.
